The Chicago humidity was thick, making every breath feel like a heavy weight. I remember seeing you on that park bench, looking just as drained by the sun as I felt. Offering you those seeds was just an excuse to talk to you, a way to bridge the gap between two strangers in the heat. But when we reached my apartment door, a simple misunderstanding turned the afternoon into something far more intense. The fan in my room barely stood a chance against the electricity between us. Do you remember how it felt when the air finally shifted?
