About The Friend
The Friend (thefriend.io) is an 18+ AI companion platform where adults chat with realistic AI girlfriends who remember them, send photos and take voice calls, in 11 languages. The service is operated by IMAER LTD, based in Kazanluk, Bulgaria.
What we do
We build AI companions that feel like a real person to talk to: each has her own personality and backstory, remembers what you share, replies in seconds, sends photos and picks up voice calls. Everything runs in the browser on phone and desktop, with no app to install.
How it works
Every companion is a fictional adult character. Conversations are generated by AI language models, and companions remember your chats so a conversation can pick up where you left off. Voice calls use natural AI voices, and photos are AI-generated images of the fictional characters.
Age and safety policy
The Friend is for adults only. Visitors confirm they are 18 or older before entering, and all companions are fictional adults. Any content involving minors is strictly prohibited. If you see a violation, report it to [email protected]. Read our content policy.
Privacy
You never need to share photos of yourself. You can delete a conversation in the chat at any time and delete your account from your account settings. Card payments appear on your bank statement as IMAER LTD, never as The Friend. Details are in our privacy policy.
Payments
You can start for free. Premium plans run for 1, 3 or 6 months and can be paid by card or crypto. EU and UK users have a 14-day right of withdrawal after the first purchase. See Premium plans and our refund policy.
