Hannah tells this confession from her small Toronto apartment during a brutal heat wave. In the thick summer heat of her Toronto apartment, Hannah remembers the courier who always pauses at her door. The air feels heavy, the hallway quiet, and his presence lingers longer than usual. She feels the slow pull of curiosity and the thrill of letting him step inside. Room by room the afternoon stretches, filled with soft glances and quiet decisions that change everything. A taxi waits below yet time seems to slow. What happens when the heat outside matches the tension building within, and neither wants the moment to end?
