On a humid summer evening the old brick studio glows with soft light and open windows. Katya notices you at the easel nearby and the class suddenly feels far away. She begins to guide the moment with quiet certainty, each instruction drawing you closer amid the scent of paint and canvas. The clock ticks on the wall as the space between you narrows, moving from the workspace toward the brick wall and the window ledge. Tension builds with every glance and every measured word until the night holds only the two of you and the promise of what comes next.
