How is a chat room different from an AI girlfriend chat?
Chat rooms are public channels with many people: everyone in the channel sees what you write. An AI girlfriend chat happens only between you and one character, who remembers you, sends photos and picks up voice calls. You use both on The Friend with the same account.
The Friend is an 18+ platform offering AI chat companions in 11 languages and live chat in country channels. For more, read our honest guide to live chat sites and how to make friends online safely.
